S.F.  The town of Hillsborough incorporated in 1910.  Basic law enforcement, were handled informally out of the first Town Hall which also served as the initial police department and fire department.  Dedicated police department photographs and records exist starting in 1931, indicating organized policing was in place by then

The badge maker Patrick & Co. S.F. was in business from 1893 to 1930 when the name changed to Patrick Moise - Klinkner.  In 1950 the name changed again back to Patrick & Co.
