The Prize of My Badge Collection

This beautiful 14k gold suspension badge was worn by famous lawman, Buck Garrett in Ardmore, Indian Territory and is pictured in the Time-Life Old West series book, "The Gunfighters" on page 100. Buck Garrett is also pictured in the book, "Badges of the United States Marshals by Sherrard/Stumpf on page 127 along with his appointment certificate as a deputy U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Indian Territory. While serving as a deputy U.S. Marshal he hunted down the last of the Dalton Gang, Bill Dalton, who Buck shot and killed while resisting arrest. His famous cousin, Pat Garrett is the lawman who shot "Billy the Kid." Jim Casey Collection

I am looking to purchase old law enforcement badges and other police memorabilia.

Police, Sheriff, Constable, Marshal, Federal, State and Local.

What I collect: I have been collecting police memorabilia since 1980 and enjoy Old West badges and have a fondness for Hand Engraved sterling and gold badges. I like displaying my collection and have been fortunate to win many awards including "Best Badge Display at the National Police Collectors Show in Denver, CO. and two Governors Awards in California and the Governors Award in Nevada.
