On Sunday Jan 8th I flew to New York to meet with famed jazz bassist Dominick Duval and check out his terrific collection of antique NYPD badges and memorabilia worn and used by Wm. Baily and his father. I invited long time NYPD collector and historian Ernie Leves to come along and we had a great time. Dominick is preparing for his European Tour with Trio X.
Meeting new and interesting people is just one of the benefits of collecting old police memorabilia.
