Inyo County, CA. Wanted Poster for Infamous Crime Against Nature.  Constable Daniel Melville Nicoll was born in Canada Oct 25, 1879, Died 3-27-51.  Family was from Scottland.  He came to Lone Pine in 1910. He was elected Constable for the 4th Township on 11/08/1910.  In 1920 he moved to Bishop  where he served as City Marshal. During the 1930's he served as a deputy sheriff for Inyo Co. He had a son Lloyd who was also a Inyo deputy and he had a son whoserved  in the CHP. Quite the law enforcement family.  Jim Casey Collection
