T.M. Brown, Sheriff of Humboldt Co. CA. Sheriff Brown is famous for having been the last Sheriff of the only county in California history to go defunct, Klamath Co. CA.  The county was divided up into what are now parts of Humboldt, Del Norte, Siskiyou and Trinity counties.  He then ran for Sheriff of the newly re-organized county of Humboldt and won.  Photography Jim Casey.
