I just got back from vacation and found the book had arrived while I was gone. It was well worth waiting for. This was a real labor of love and you should be proud! Very well done, excellent. I've been waiting for a book of this quality for many years. You should be commended for the outstanding publication "Badges of America's Finest". This is truly dedicated to the old lawman whether he was on the East or West coast. Seeing some of the first issue
badges from the East Coast was truly a pleasure. I know some collectors on the West Coast don't appreciate the East but they are reminded that "The Eastern Lawman" was the first law in the United States. I showed the book here
at work and women all remark "Why doesn't the current police officer dress with pride and neatness like the old photographs depicted in the book?" They all felt that the era of the lawman although primitive by today's standards
took pride in his appearance. This publication serves as a historical contribution to not only badges but old photos from all over the country. The publication was worth waiting for and your hard work, dedication, and overall
skills benefit all of us who collect. Exemplary! I just received the badge book today and you did an excellent job on it. I look forward to reading every page and thank you for promoting the badge collecting hobby. My book arrived while I was at the show, and the word that My Badges of America's Finest just arrived yesterday and I was quite, no, extremely impressed. Although I haven't had time to go through it page by page, I think that it's fantastic! Well done and congratulations. Again, a wonderful job and I hope that it gets the credit due it from the collecting fraternity. Best, Dean Mario, Saskatoon, Canada Most outstanding book!! I have recently had the pleasure of viewing Jim Casey's latest book, "Badges of America's Finest" and I can honestly tell you that it is very impressive. It is a must have for the serious collector as
well as the casual admirer. The photographs are of such great quality as to jump off of the page. This book will be a beautiful addition to any coffee table, leading to many hours of enjoyment. Only one word needed to describe this book, excellent. The photography is superb in every respect. Just received my book today, and I had to email you and tell you what an outstanding book it is. In my opinion, it is the finest such book on badges I have seen, in my 20 plus years in the hobby.
Your photos are large, and clear and well focused. Deltail is easily seen. The format and text, accompanying the pictures, make the book an easy, and interesting read. And, your inclusion of so many fabulous Cabinet Card photos just adds to the sense of history that the badges evoke.
I received your book. Your book "Badges of America's finest" is very good and exceptional work and collection. |
